Human Rights for the People by the People: Social and Cultural Rights from Below is a documentary in collaboration between the Economic, Social and Cultural Rights Network (ESCR-Net) and the Media Mobilizing Project. Human Rights for the People… captures the experiences and expertise of social movement leaders from around the world to encourage collaboration between grassroots movements to make economic, social, and cultural rights a reality for all. The interviews in this film were shot during the International Strategy Meeting on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and ESCR-Net General Assembly in Nairobi, Kenya in 2008.
