Fountains, geysers, and lawn sprinklers open a quintet of curated water sequences, exploring the filmmaker’s lifelong fear of drowning in the wake of the environmental catastrophes of 2010. In sequencing the clips, meticulously cut and pasted from her late father’s Super-8 footage, the filmmaker begins a journey through the depths of an archive of imagery and memory in her own effort to capture and structure the uncontainable.
